SEGA is thrilled to announce new details about the gameplay and features of ATLUS's latest title, RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, which is set to release June 19, 2025. RAIDOU Remastered breathes new life into Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army, adding improved gameplay, convenient new features, 50 new demons, and more to this timeless detective classic.

We are also excited to announce the ongoing Title Submission Campaign, inviting fans to share their innovative in-game title ideas for Raidou. From the submissions received, we will select 10 creative titles to be included in a free DLC, tentatively named Demonic Designations: Summoner Titles. This will allow players to equip these titles in-game. Don't miss your chance to contribute—submit your ideas by May 4, 2025!

Real-Time Battle

On his adventures, Raidou must harness his weaponry and demon partners' skills to take down enemies in real time. Unleash mayhem with this new-and-improved version of the combat from Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon!

・Intuitive Combat

String together sword and gun attacks with actions such as skills, jumps, and dodges to best your foes. Discern when enemies will strike and counter with combos to take them down!

・Summoning Demons

During battles, you can summon up to 2 demonic allies. These companions act independently, choosing the most appropriate action for the situation at hand or executing the commands you've given them. To triumph over your foes, send out a pair of demons who can complement one another's skills and exploit your enemies' weaknesses.

You can deploy two of the same demon at once—whether it's Jack Frost or your personal favorite, feel free to experiment with the possibilities!

・The MAG Drain System

Magnetite (MAG) is a form of spiritual energy used by demons to perform Combat Skills. Demons cannot activate their skills if Raidou's MAG is depleted. You can replenish it by using MAG Drain to siphon MAG from your enemies. Light sword attacks inflict small amounts of damage during combat but allow you to drain MAG from your foes, while heavy sword attacks deal more damage but are incapable of draining MAG. Assessing the situation and correctly determining whether you should prioritize MAG, or damage will be the key to victory.

・Exploit Weaknesses to Deal Massive Damage

Enemy and ally demons each have their own weaknesses and resistances. Using an attack with an element the enemy is weak against will temporarily immobilize them.

Not only will they be unable to move, but you'll also land a guaranteed critical, deal increased damage, and drain more MAG!

・The Art of Confinement

You can turn demon enemies into allies by sealing them using Raidou's tubes.
Should you succeed, you'll sometimes have the chance to strike up a conversation with them. Choose an answer they like, and they'll provide benefits such as healing your party or boosting your stats!

・Devil's Bane

Devil's Bane is a powerful technique that takes advantage of an exposed enemy. You will be able to perform this maneuver when you've either knocked your foe off balance with a continuous assault or evaded an attack with perfect timing, inflicting a large amount of damage and simultaneously stealing MAG in the process.

・Spirit Slash

Meeting certain conditions during battle will raise the Spirit of you and your allies.
Once your Spirit has reached its maximum, you'll be able to unleash the Spirit Slash which purges evil, dealing massive damage to all enemies in the field.

・Experiment with Different Weaponry

Raidou can equip three types of blades, each offering distinct skills. The sword type is well-rounded, providing adequate offense and defense, while the spear type excels in dealing many hits, and the axe type specializes in inflicting tremendous damage with a single attack. Test them all out and discover the best fit for your playstyle!

Investigations

As Raidou, assume the role of detective and resolve incidents involving demons. Question the people and demons you come across in the Capital to find new leads and breakthroughs. You may even have to use your demons' Investigation Skills to gather more clues.

・Use Your Demons to Gather Intel

Raidou's demon allies possess Investigation Skills that can be crucial to cracking the case. For example, Read Minds allows you to hear the inner thoughts of people unwilling to provider verbal testimony, while Cool Down creates footholds from frozen water.

You may come across suspicious areas that are off-limits to humans like Raidou. When this happens, send a demon out on a solo investigation and have them collect intel for you!

・The Real World and the Dark Realm

Raidou's investigations will take him back and forth between the Capital and the Dark Realm, a nexus between the Real World and the Netherworld that is overflowing with demons.

Outside of Devil Summoners and others with spiritual abilities, an ordinary person cannot enter—let alone sense—the Dark Realm. However, once in a blue moon, a demon may lure them in.

In this remastered version of the Dark Realm, you'll now be able to enter combat by making contact with demons in the field.

・Purging the Aril Rifts

Sometimes, you will see spatial fissures around town known as Aril Rifts. Demons use these portals to enter the real world. Purging them will grant you much more experience than if you were to fight demons in the Dark Realm.

Goumaden and Demon Fusion

Once you have amassed multiple allies through confinement, take them to the Goumaden, a research facility run by Dr. Victor. Here, you can perform demon fusions, which allow you to combine your allies into much more powerful demons.

・Demon Fusion: A Forbidden Science

At the Goumaden, you can combine existing demons to create a new one.
There are multiple ways to perform fusion. You can fuse two demons from separate orders with Normal Fusion, set certain criteria with Search Fusion, begin with a specific fusion result in mind with Reverse Fusion, use two demons of the same Order to create one of the Element Order with Element Fusion, or fuse two Element Order demons to make a Mitama Order demon with Mitama Fusion.

You are also able to decide which skills the new demon inherits, allowing you to create a demon that is uniquely yours.

Head of the Goumaden
Dr. Victor (VA: Banjo Ginga)

A brilliant scientist who has put his heart and soul into his demon fusion research at the Goumaden. He is cooperating with the Devil Summoners in the Capital to further his studies in demons and creating life. Rumors suggest he's over 100 years old, though no one has been able to verify this claim.

・Devil Chart & Premium Devil Chart

Any demons you have confined will be registered in the Devil Chart, allowing you to conveniently summon them again for a price.

The Premium Devil Chart is also available, allowing you to register multiple entries for the same demon.

・Sword Alchemy

You can create new weapons by fusing your swords with the crystallized forms of demon souls you loot in battle.

The newly forged weapon may unlock new Sword Skills for Raidou to learn.

Demons and Demon Orders

This new title includes 50 more demons than the original, bringing the total to over 120 demons! Team up with familiar allies from Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon, Shin Megami Tensei V, and other ATLUS titles!

Each demon belongs to a specific Order, which influences their weaknesses and what skills they are able to use. Demon fusion also follows set rules as it pertains to the Order of the resulting demon.

・Pyro Order

Specializes in Fire skills. Can use the Investigation Skill Ignite, kindling a fire within the target.

・Frost Order

Specializes in Ice skills. Can use the Investigation Skill Cool Down, chilling and possibly freezing the target.

・Volt Order

Specializes in Electric skills. Can use the Investigation Skill Inspect, revealing hidden objects of interest with a flash of lightning.

・Wind Order

Specializes in Force skills. Can use the Investigation Skill Scout, identifying demons and items in the area.

・Fury Order

Specializes in Physical skills. Can use the Investigation Skill Use Force, moving heavy objects with inhuman physical strength.

・Pagan Order

Specializes in Death skills. Can use the Investigation Skill Read Mind, allowing you to hear the thoughts of the target.

・Skill Order

Specializes in all manner of skills. Can use the Investigation Skill Demonstrate, boasting various effects in the battlefield.

・Element Order

Fusing two demons of the same Order results in a demon of the Element Order.
When a demon is fused with an Element Order demon, the resulting demon may be of a higher or lower level but will keep the same Order as the non-Element Order demon used in the fusion.

・Mitama Order

Fusing two Element Order demons’ results in a Mitama Order demon.
Fusing a demon with a Mitama Order demon will result in the same non-Mitama Order demon as was used in the fusion, but with enhanced stats.

You can view it at any time from the menu, so take advantage of it if you ever get stuck during an investigation.

As you pursue your investigation, you will no doubt find yourself needing to revisit the Narumi Detective Agency, certain crime scenes, and various other locations. Hop in an express streetcar to instantly travel to places you've already visited.
