Football Manager 26 Launches On November 5!

SEGA is pleased to announce that Football Manager 2026 (FM26), the latest entry in the popular football management series developed by Sports Interactive, will launch on November 5, 2025, for PlayStation^®5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™, PC (Steam / Epic / Windows), Mac, and Netflix. Pre-orders for the PC version (Steam / Epic Games Store / Windows) also begins today.

Football Manager is a globally popular series developed by SEGA in collaboration with the UK-based studio Sports Interactive. The series began with the release of Football Manager 2005in 2004 and has continued to evolve in various ways ever since.

For the first time in the series’ history, FM26 is powered by the Unity engine, delivering a completely refreshed management experience across match presentation, tactics, scouting, and the user interface. Featuring the official Premier League license and the long-awaited addition of women’s football, FM26 marks the beginning of a new era for the franchise.

Revamped With the Unity Engine and A New Experience

FM26 is the first in the series to adopt the Unity engine. With new animations and visual effects based on real gameplay, matches have evolved to offer a more realistic and immersive experience than ever before. In addition, a redesigned, intuitive user interface allows players to make key decisions in tactics, scouting, and transfers more smoothly. The system is designed to accommodate both new players and long-time veterans alike.

Official Licenses and Diverse Arenas

The game has newly acquired the official Premier League license, faithfully recreating the world’s top-tier league in all its authenticity. For the first time in the series, women’s football has also been included, with a fully integrated database and official competitions allowing both men’s and women’s football to be experienced within the same environment. This expansion further enhances the possibilities of club management.

Save Data Compatibility

With the transition to the new engine, players can carry over save data from FM24 and FM23, allowing long-running careers to continue without interruption.

Pre-Purchase Bonuses and Early Access

Players who pre-purchase the PC or Mac version from SEGA-approved online stores ahead of the November 5 release will receive a 10% discount. In addition, they can start their managerial career early with the Early Access version available approximately two weeks before launch and continue their progress seamlessly in the full release.
