SEGA is proud to announce that Aniplex's Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is coming to PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam in 2025 for Asia, North America, and Europe.
Story Mode
Continue where Tanjiro's journey left off in the first Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles.
Fight your way through the events of the Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc, and Hashira Training Arc from the anime adaptation!
VS Mode
Select from a wide array of brand-new characters to play as, such as Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji, the two Hashira who take on an Upper Rank demon in the Swordsmith Village Arc.
The full roster includes the eighteen characters from the original Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles, the demons added in the free update, and the characters from the Entertainment District DLC packs.
Hashira Joins as Playable Characters
All nine Hashira, the highest-ranking Demon-Slayer swordmen: Giyu Tomioka (Water Hashira), Kyojuro Rengoku (Flame Hashira), Tengen Uzui (Sound Hashira), Muichiro Tokito (Mist Hashira), Shinobu Kocho (Insect Hashira), Mitsuri Kanroji (Love Hashira), Obanai Iguro (Serpent Hashira), Sanemi Shinazugawa (Wind Hashira), and Gyomei Himejima (Stone Hashira) have been made into playable characters.
Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles is an arena fighter based on the April 2019 anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The game, which launched on October 14, 2021, was developed by CyberConnect2 and produced by Aniplex, with Aniplex (*1) and SEGA publishing it in Japan and overseas, respectively. Additional playable characters were continuously released through free updates, and the paid downloadable content Entertainment District DLC pack was sold over the course of five installments.
The game was met with critical acclaim and surpassed 400 million unit sales (*2) worldwide.

About the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Anime
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge published under SHUEISHA's JUMP COMICS, which consists of 23 volumes and over 150 million copies in publication. The animation production
is by ufotable.
The story begins when Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is killed by a demon, joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his younger sister Nezuko back into a human after she is transformed into a demon. In April 2019, the TV anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba first premiered with the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc, followed by the release of the feature film Mugen Train in October 2020, and the TV series Mugen Train Arc and Entertainment District Arc from 2021 through 2022.
Starting in February 2023, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- World Tour kicked off, followed by the TV adaptation of the Swordsmith Village Arc airing and streaming in April. In February 2024, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- was released in movie theaters worldwide featuring a special theatrical screening in over 145 countries and regions - surpassing the previous year's release. The TV series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc was broadcast and streamed online in May.
The production of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is confirmed to arrive in movie theatres as a trilogy.
The series has captivated audiences worldwide with its tragic tale of humans and demons, riveting sword fights, charming characters, and comical scenes.
