Recap: Street Fighter 6 Showcase

Capcom recently held an online event for Street Fighter 6, which streamed on April 20 (April 21 in Manila) via the game's official YouTube channel and was hosted by rapper Lil Wayne.

The developers really put a lot of effort in the showcase, giving gamers a glimpse of what to expect from the soon-to-be-released fighting game. The stream provided details on the game's new features such as World Tour, Battle Hub, and Fighting Ground. of course, the event wouldn't be without the announcement of new DLC characters prior to the game's official release.

On that note, here are some of the highlights from the online event:

World Tour

Street Fighter 6 has a feature that lets players create their own avatar and go on a World Tour with RPG-like elements. Cutscenes with Street Fighter 6 characters can be unlocked by completing in-game missions.

Players can upgrade their avatar's Skill Tree by acquiring consumable items and purchasing food at eateries.

Battle Hub

The avatar created via the World Tour feature can be used on the game's Battle Hub for Avatar Battles. Test your avatar's skills against other players online with Battle Hub's "Wild Mode."

Players can also create a group or "clubs" with other players on Battle Hub. Show off some swag with customized uniforms for all members of a particular club.

Change The Rules In Extreme Battle Mode
