Sonic the Hedgehog DLC Collaboration with PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC Coming this Winter! 

SINGAPORE – Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia is pleased to announce that the DLC collaboration with Sonic the Hedgehog will be coming to PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC this winter. PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC is slated for release on 25 September 2025 on Nintendo Switch™ 2, Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One and on 26 September 2025 for PC via Steam®. 

To commemorate this collaboration, a special trailer with Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has been released, showcasing Sonic racing through Pac-Village and PAC-MAN dashing through Sonic’s stage. Don’t miss seeing them in each other’s worlds, watch the trailer now: 

Collaboration Stage and Skin Revealed!

Ahead of the launch of the DLC, the first stage and skin for the Sonic the Hedgehog collaboration has been revealed. Transform into Sonic and race around the Rolling Around On the Island stage. 

Sonic the Hedgehog Collaboration Stage: Rolling Around On the Island

 Inspired by the iconic Green Hill Zone stage from Sonic the Hedgehog, PAC-MAN will race through the stage, Rolling Around On the Island as part of PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC collaboration DLC content. 

The stage will feature a tropical landscape with blue skies, white clouds, palm trees and totem poles. The checkerboard-patterned ground and cliffs have been reimagined, capturing the essence of Green Hill, packed with familiar Sonic the Hedgehog gimmicks, including 360-degree loop-de-loop, springs and dash rings. Enemies like Moto Bug and Buzz Bomber will also appear when racing through the stage at high speed, while collecting golden rings! 

Additionally, the collaboration costume allows PAC-MAN to change into Sonic the Hedgehog featuring Sonic’s iconic blue colour, spiky fur, gloves and red shoe. Enjoy this unique twist on the usual PAC-MAN WORLD and adventure in this high-speed, action-packed experience with Sonic the Hedgehog’s collaboration costume!
