Taguig — Ubisoft Philippines, the first and only AAA co-development studio in the country, hosted another exclusive tour and showcase of their brand-new office space in The Finance Center, BGC, revealing insights into their game development process.
The studio co-develops Ubisoft’s flagship titles and is home to over a hundred of the world's finest talents in areas including art, design, programming, animation, audio, and quality assurance. As the first studio of its kind in the region to be involved in AAA game development from concept and creation to game integration, Filipino developers at Ubisoft Philippines play a crucial role, exercising creative freedom and making key decisions that shape the player experience.
Ubisoft Philippines has contributed to the development of major franchises, including Assassin's Creed Mirage, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Far Cry, For Honor, and The Crew 2. Since its inception in 2016, the studio has co-developed 12 AAA games and 3 DLCs, and has recently celebrated the successful launch of Skull & Bones. The team is currently making significant contributions to the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, set to be released in November this year.
